Tao Te Ching
A Book on Purpose
as received by Rev. Devan Jesse Byrne
Inspiring people for millennia, the "Tao" has presented a way of living that instills peace and fulfillment. The Tao's words have been translated a multitude of times, and unlike any of them, this version comes from a whole other perspective. Instead of translating the text or the ancient Mandarin, Rev. Devan Jesse Byrne sat with each verse and spiritually visited with LaoTzu and received the original concept reviving the verse in his own words and understanding, which LaoTzu's untrained transcribers were unable to do accurately. LaoTzu attempted to express our universal Divine Purpose, which drives us all to live and experience. He explained to Rev. Devan that nothing needs to be forced but allowed while we simply maintain trust in the fact that we are more than any physical experience could convey to us. While we seem to want to find meaning and purpose in the universe, we forget the universe's purpose is what we are, and without us, it has no experience.
